Colour No Mans Land is here. Version 1.51 includes colour support for the NetBook and Series 7. For those of you having trouble defeating the computer medium and easy difficulty settings have been added to the existing (hard) level.
No Mans Land is a real time strategy game that sets new standards in gaming on hand held computers. It runs on the Psion Series 5, 5mx, 7, Revo, NetBook, Ericsson MC218 & Geofox 1.
No Mans Land pits you and your army against the computer opponent. Your army must fight for control of the valuable oil fields spread across the various scenarios. You need to balance the effort put into searching and drilling for new oil, attacking your opponents territory and oil fields whilst also building up and maintaining your own defences.
Twenty two built in levels: Each one designed to provide a unique experience all requiring a different strategic approach to achieve victory.
Advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) Opponent: Believe it or not you will find the AI in this game a more worthy opponent than that found in any of the PC games in this genre.
Fog of war: To provide a more tense atmosphere the game uses a fog of war. You can only see enemy tanks or buildings that are within the visible range of your army. Enemy movements outside of your visible area are obscured by the fog of war leaving you guessing at their strength and location. Attacks can appear out of the fog at any time with little or no warning.
Random custom game generation: You choose the map, the quantity of oil wells, the quantity of units and start money. The game then randomly places the oil and bases on the map giving a different challenge every time.
Easy to use scenario editor: It is extremely easy to generate your own scenarios with the built in editor. It enables you to layout the map, units, buildings and oil fields. You can also set the start money for each player, give each player varying fixed incomes and set the AI to play a neutral, attacking or defensive game.
AI v AI games: The computer can be set to play itself on any built in or user edited scenario. This mode also features a director that follows the action allowing you to view key parts of the battles.
